Although the Deer Park United Methodist Church is limited in its ability to provide immediate financial assistance, please know that we are action oriented and will do our best to assist any member or requesting person who may find themselves at our doorstep. We ask for nothing in return, as it is God’s way to love our neighbors as ourself.  See our mission statement

Other Resources in Deer Park

The City of Deer Park relies on the Spokane County and the State of Washington, to assist its residents with social service needs. If you find yourself in need of medium to long-term assistance, please know that the Spokane County Community Services Department may be able to assist you. If you have access to the internet, their website can be visited at www.spokanecounty.org/5494/Community-Services and/or by calling them directly 509-477-5722.

Another very quick and powerful resource is “Washington 2-1-1.” By calling 2-1-1, you will be instantly linked with a customer service employee who will provide you with information about the service you are seeking or basic need that you may have.

WIC Office Hours - Every Thursday

The Deer Park Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program is a supplemental food program for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, infants and children. It is a Federal Program that is administered by the Spokane Regional Health District. The Deer Park United Methodist Church proudly hosts the WIC program every Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. If you have questions or would like to know if this program can benefit you, please call 509-276-3770.

"TOPS" (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Program

Deer Park United Methodist Church is home to the local TOPS weightloss program. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is the original nonprofit, noncommercial network of weight-loss support groups and wellness education organization. TOPS offers tools and programs for healthy living and weight management, with exceptional group fellowship and recognition. Established in 1948 to champion weight-loss support and success, it has helped millions of people live healthier lives.  The Deer Park TOPS program meets every Thursday from 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Room.
